Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport. If
arriving by morning or mid-day flight, transfer to hotel.
Proceed for a sightseeing tour that includes the old
colonial – style city centre with the gilded SULE PAGODA,
dating back over 2,000 years, BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET
(closed on Monday) with hundreds of stores and gems
shops. The tour continues to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining
Buddha image followed by a photo stop at KARAWEIK HALL,
a royal floating barge. An extended visit to SHWEDAGON
PAGODA, one of the world’s most spectacular religious
Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 metres above its base and is
covered with over 30 tons of pure gold. If arriving on late
afternoon flight, transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in
Yangon.
Day 02 Yangon
Transfer to / from golf course. Round of golf at the
Yangon Golf Club. An evening visit to Botataung Pagoda and
china town.
Overnight in Yangon.
Day 03 Yangon – Bagan (by flight)
Transfer to Yangon airport for domestic flight to Bagan.
On arrival transfer to hotel and proceed to Bagan Golf Club
for one round of golf. In the evening, watch sunset over the
Bupaya Pagoda.
Overnight in Bagan.
Day 04 Bagan
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing, starting with
the colourful local Nyaung Oo market. The full day tour
include: most important pagodas and temples such as SHWEZIGON
PAGODA, built in the early 11th century, GU BYAUK GYI, a
temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes and ANANDA
TEMPLE with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous
seated figures in niches around the galleried interior.
Then, visit to a lacquer crafter’s workshop and lunch will
be at
the local restaurant. After lunch, visit to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in Mon style in 1059, NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique
sandstone monument and MYINGABA GU BYAUKGYI TEMPLE, noted
for its ancient mural paintings. Then, proceed to BUPAYA
PAGODA to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner at
a riverside restaurant and overnight in Bagan.
Day 05 Bagan – Mandalay (by flight)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to
the airport for flight to Mandalay, the country’s second
city and cultural center. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
Proceed to the Yay Dagon Taung Golf Course for Round of
golf, at the foot of the Yay Dagon Taung (water fall).
Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 06 Mandalay
After breakfast sightseeing will begin with a visit to
the revered religions monument in Mandalay, the MAHA MYAT
MUNI BUDDHA IMAGE Continue to MANDALAY PALACE, GOLD LEAF
INDUSTRY and HANDICRAFTS SHOPS those sell wood carvings,
marionettes and richly embroidered tapestries. Visit are
also made SHWE NANDAW MONASTERY, KUTHODAW PAGODA and view
over the city from Mandalay Hill, when the sun goes down.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Mandalay
Day 07 Mandalay – Yangon (by flight)
After Breakfast, transfer to Mandalay airport for flight
to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and proceed to
Pun Hlaing Golf Estate for Round of golf.
